Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
I repent. I don't pray enough. I pray a lot, but not enough. Watching a long video by a brother in Christ, cited below, who relayed an experience/vision he had where the US President was assassinated, I believe the Body of Christ TODAY, not just in the USA, needs to wake up and pray even more for POTUS, the President of the United States. We have to display our faith in God by our personal and national prayers, starting with personal repentance. The more we repent, the more powerful our prayers: "The effective, fervent prayers of a righteous man avails much." (James 5:16).
This is what the Lord Jesus says for you and me today: " Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things that he said will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses." (Mark 11:22-25).
The Holy Spirit, writing through Peter, points out: " For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?" ( 1 Peter 4:17).
I believe the long video is a wake-up call first to the "house of God" --- and for all of us---to pray TODAY for Holy Spirit Wisdom and Godly protection to prevail in all decisions by the current President of the United States. Praying without doubt in our hearts, believing for Wisdom and God's protection for any inhabitant of that office, will create a prayer wall that will protect the President. That will also begin, along with repentance, to restore our Godly roots.
You and I are to lead others in regular, fervent prayer for civil authority: " Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:1-4)
