I have been pretty busy finishing out the school year and haven't been at the easel as much as I would have liked since Western Art Week in Great Falls. It was a wonderful show and I want to thank all of you who came to visit and support me! You have made all the difference to me and my family.
Some of you may not know this, but for the last eight years I have been teaching art at the high school level. My teaching career has been the best friend of my painting endeavors, making it possible for me to provide the essentials for my family and have the time to grow as an artist. --The time has now come for my high school teaching career and my painting career to part ways. I am grateful to announce that in only two days, on May 24th, I will leave Cody High School for the last time as an employee.
Looking back on the last seven years here, and seeing the incredible opportunities and growth I've experienced, it has been nothing short of miraculous. I have been greatly blessed and could not have this opportunity without all of your support.
My family and I have been living in the Cody and Powell, Wyoming area since we moved here in 2011, it has become home to us and we are planning to stay. If you ever find yourself in the area, please feel free to stop in and say hi!
