One week from now Western Art Week begins. Over the last five years, I have grown to love Great Falls, MT and the festivities surrounding the incredible body and variety of art consolidated into one place.

I hope that if you have not had the chance to make it, you look into this incredible opportunity.

Available at The Russell Saturday Night Auction
This is my 4th year participating in The Russell auctions. I am honored to have this opportunity.

The painting I have included in the auction is "Pryor Mountain Protégé", a piece that was inspired by the incredible herd of wild horses, not far from my home in the Pryor Mountain range. The Pryor Mountains Wild Horse Range is one of the most unique places in the world and has a unique history and heritage. These are incredible animals, and I am excited to have it included in The Russell.
I will again be displaying and selling my work with the Out West Art Show. I will be located in ROOM 290. This will be my 5th year showing at the Heritage Inn. I am honored to continue working with these great folks, and particularly the many wonderful artists included in the show. Please stop by and say hi.

New Gallery Representation
I am thrilled to announce that I am now represented by Astoria Fine Art in Jackson, WY.
Jackson Wyoming - On the Square
I approached Greg Fulton, the owner of Astoria, earlier last year through their online application process. After seeing my work he was kind enough to meet with me after the Fall Arts festivities.

At this point, I am a guest artist , and hopefully after a year, will be considered as a represented artist .

This addition and step is very important to me as I am growing and expanding my art career. I am hopeful that this brings me one step closer to realizing my dream of being a full-time artist.
As most of you know, this is currently my 7th year teaching art at Cody High School, I also taught previously for a year at Ririe High School in Idaho.

Teaching has been an incredible blessing to me and my family as it has enabled me to begin and grow my oil painting career from the ground up while still having the ability to support my family.

It is bitter sweet to let you all know that it's very likely this will be my last year in the public education system so that I can continue to expand and grow my painting career. The number of shows I can participate in and the amount of work I can produce has become quite limited due to my teaching responsibilities, and something has to give.

I will miss many things about teaching, including the wonderful and talented youth, but I am certain this is the best step for us to be taking.

Thank you all for your incredible support and for making this dream a reality, I literally could not have done it without you.
I hope to see as many of you as possible in Great Falls next week! Take care and have a wonderful Spring season!
