Texan Mark Vogler Joins APRx Board

Texan Mark Vogler has been elected to the American Pharmacies Board of Directors, replacing Lynn Everett, who ends 20 years of service as a Board member. Vogler will officially be seated at the start of the Board's March 22-23 meeting. His term on the Board runs through June 30, 2025.


A1988 graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Vogler has worked in independent pharmacy since graduating and became an owner in 2000. He is sole owner of Martin Tipton Pharmacy in Amarillo and part owner of Grand Pharmacy in Amarillo and Borger Pharmacy in Borger, TX. 


Vogler has been an American Pharmacies member for more than five years and serves on APRx's Texas Advocacy Advisory Panel. He is a member of the National Community Pharmacists Association, American Pharmacists Association, Texas Pharmacy Association and West Texas Pharmacy Association. HIs son, Hayden Vogler, is finishing his fourth year of pharmacy school at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center.

Lynn Everett: 20 Years of Dedicated Service to American Pharmacies


A founding member of the American Pharmacies Board in 2002, Everett is a former chairman and vice-chairman of the Board. A graduate of the University of Texas, he owns Lynn's LaVega Pharmacy in Waco and Lynn’s Pharmacy in Hewitt, TX. He is particularly interested in specialty compounding.


Everett is a longtime member of the National Community Pharmacists Association and Texas Pharmacy Association and formerly served on the DataRx board. Many pharmacy students have benefited from Lynn’s knowledge and experience as a certified preceptor.


He has served on many boards and offices in both local and state pharmacy organizations. He is an ordained deacon and a member of the Cottonwood Baptist Church and a former member of the Board of the Bellmead Chamber of Commerce. He is a longtime member of the Waco Founder Lions Club and has chaired the Board of the LaVega Pirates Education Foundation. He also is a longtime member of the Fidelis Masonic Lodge in Waco.


We thank Lynn Everett for his 20 years of dedicated service to the Board and to members of American Pharmacies. We appreciate the many contributions he has made over the years to enable our growth and success.


APRx Board Chairman Joe Ochoa of Edinburg, TX, welcomed Vogler to the Board and said he looks forward to his involvement and input. And he thanked Everett for his many years of service.
