Auxiliary Annual Meeting: October 4!

Fall Fun Is Coming!

Mark your calendars for October 4. That's our annual Auxiliary Day! Come to the campus and enjoy fellowship with other MLC supporters. Registration starts at 8:00 with the meeting starting at 9:00. Hear informative presentations, meet a scholarship recipient, get a sneak preview of the fall play, and be part of selecting the 2025-26 projects. We are excited to welcome everyone, men and women, to get in on all the news.

We have some important things to discuss this year. One item on the agenda is a potential name change. Over the years, we have gotten feedback that our name feels like it excludes some people even though we have always welcomed everyone into our group. The board would like to present some ideas about the value of changing our name to simply MLC Auxiliary. We ask that you prayerfully consider this change and be ready to discuss and vote on it at our meeting. Another item on the agenda will be presenting the long-awaited new constitution and bylaws.

There are exciting changes, and we want you to be involved!

Note: Based on previous years, we will not be providing daycare unless you contact us.

We want to hear from you even when you aren't here! We know not everyone can attend in person, so after the meeting, we'll send you updates and invite you to share your thoughts and suggestions through an upcoming form.

We hope to see as many of you as possible on October 4.

We sent a brief paragraph about the annual meeting to all our congregations. If you don't see a notice in your bulletin, could you contact your church office to see if they got it? And please encourage them to put it in the bulletin.

Then invite other members and friends to come with you to the Auxiliary Annual Meeting!

Last year, we enjoyed a sneak peek of the 2024 fall play, Fiddler on the Roof. This year's presentation will be for the upcoming Little Women: The Broadway Musical.

Everyone enjoyed fellowship and time to connect with others who have a passion for supporting the Auxiliary mission.

Official business doesn't always have to be serious. As our previous president, Connie Scharf, passed the gavel to our current president, Jackie Dalueg, it was smiles and joy all around.

After the annual meeting, visit the MLC Ladies’ Auxiliary project page to see projects for 2025-26, and consider how you or your church group might adopt one of these projects. Even if you can’t fund an entire project, please consider a donation—every bit helps!
