Exciting Events for the New Year

2026 Sneak Peek

Friends of the Conway Public Library Program Series

Evening Programs

6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Here's an exciting lineup of events to mark on your calendar for 2026! This year features both highly anticipated favorites and some new offerings.

One of the highlights is an 8-week knitting course that you can register for. If you sign up for any events and find that you are unable to attend, we kindly ask you to notify the library. This will allow us to offer your spot to another patron who may be waiting for an opening.

The Friends of the Library are thrilled to present several standout events this year. With favorites returning, such as Sara Moore and Jeff Belanger's new program highlighting his new book, a notable event is "What a Glorious Crash They Made," which will feature period-appropriate attire and music from the American Revolution. Join us as we celebrate our 250 years of history with a large turnout!

In addition, there will be programs focused on genealogy and cemetery sleuthing, along with nature programs that include opportunities to meet real animals with Squam Lake. To top it all off, we will have well-known outdoor adventure experts, such as Ty Gagne and Michael Wejchert, joining us near the end of the year to round out our amazing series of programs.

This year promises to be wonderful, so please make time in your schedule to attend. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
