Rejoice always, pray without ceasing,

for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-17

Dear St. Anne Families,

It has been another busy and blessed week on campus. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigated electrical issues that led to a delayed start. We were thrilled to see so many students arrive with smiles, ready to learn, despite the shift in routine. Our faculty and staff, families, and PTO showed incredible flexibility and generosity—thank you!

A huge thank you to Coach Carpio, Mrs. Kristen Sullivan, Mrs. Melissa Huynh, the Booster Club, and all of our parent volunteers for hosting a wonderful Athletic Banquet on Tuesday. We are proud to share that every varsity team made it to the playoffs this year—go Crusaders!

It was also a joy to see so many of you at the Pre-K and Kindergarten Earth Day Picnic. We are deeply grateful for our dedicated volunteers, whom we celebrated on Wednesday at our Volunteer Appreciation Brunch.

Our 3rd Grade Wax Museum was a success—what an impressive showcase of historical knowledge and creativity! Likewise, our Kindergarten Mother's Day Tea was “tea-rrific”—a truly sweet celebration honoring our incredible moms.

Today, we were also blessed to welcome Frassati Catholic High School seniors, including some of our own alumni, who visited St. Anne to complete their Culture of Life Project. They hosted a book tour for our students, encouraging a love of reading through engaging presentations on a variety of novels.

We look forward to celebrating with you all at our 40th Anniversary Mass and celebration tomorrow! Special thanks to Mrs. Kristen Sullivan and the Booster Club, Mr. Akbar and the Dad’s Club, Mr. Courtney Blackburn and the Knights of Columbus, and Mrs. Meghan Flores and the PTO for their time, effort, and dedication in making this event a memorable one. Additionally, we are excited to host our Cheer Camp this Saturday in the gym. We can’t wait to see our future cheerleaders in action!

As we approach the final weeks of school, please continue to refer to the Crusader Connection for the most up-to-date information. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events.

Sincerely in Christ,

Kendall Shamas, Ed.D Principal

FRIENDLY REMINDERS

Planning for the upcoming school year is underway. The finalized 2025–2026 academic calendar is available here.

We are also continuing to accept applications for all grade levels for the 2025–2026 school year.

Please help us spread the word about the wonderful opportunities available at St. Anne Catholic School.

We kindly ask for your continued support in ensuring the safety of our students, faculty, staff, and visitors during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up. Please keep the following in mind:

  • School begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. Students arriving after 8:00 a.m. are considered tardy and must be signed in by a parent at the front office.
  • Afternoon carline: Please refrain from lining up on campus before 3:00 p.m. We only have one way in and one way out of the campus.
  • Early dismissals: Students must be checked out no later than 3:00 p.m.
  • Carline courtesy: Please pull forward as closely as possible to the vehicle in front of you.
  • Traffic flow: Only enter through the designated entrance; do not use the exit for entry.
  • Parking: Kindly avoid parking in the four designated spots in front of the church office.

Thank you for your support with this.

ABSENCES

Parents are required to contact the school office at clinic@sacst.org to confirm a student absence - a voicemail message is acceptable notice. Please call the school office at 281-351-0093 ext. 107. Parents/guardians of students marked absent without notification will be called by the Office to confirm the absence.

Reminder: All early checkouts must be done prior to 3:00 pm. Early dismissal of students is discouraged and should be kept to a minimum as instruction continues until 3:27 p.m. for all students. If you need to pick up your child early, you MUST pick him/her up in the school office no later than 3:00 p.m. Please allow 15 minutes to pick up your student.

IMPORTANT ATTENDANCE REMINDER!

Thank you for getting your students to school on time.

The school day begins at 8:00 a.m. and all students should be in their classroom at that time. Morning carline ends when the gates are closed.
