Ribbon Cutting and Sculpture Dedication

The Highwood Chamber of Commerce invites you to a Ribbon Cutting and Public Sculpture Dedication with Collect with Lulu and Silvertuna Studios, co-curators of Highwood's mural program. Together, they have helped bring creativity and artistic expression to our community, and this new sculpture continues that tradition.

Meet the artist, Chris RWK, and the curators, and learn about the inspiration behind the piece. Join us in recognizing the partnerships and vision that continue to make Highwood a destination for public art.

All are welcome to attend this FREE special community celebration.

Spill Sessions: Behind the Murals

Join Highwood’s mural curators Laura “Lulu” Reich and CJ “Koz” Kozloff On Thursday, June 18 at 440 Green Bay Road for behind-the-scenes stories, cocktails, rooftop views, and conversation inspired by the creatives whose vision transformed Highwood into a living canvas.

More Than Paint explores the transformative power of art and community. Born from a desire to bring people together through creativity and connection, Highwood’s International Mural Festival and city beautification project reimagined the community through large-scale public art, proving that murals can do more than change a visual landscape; they can uplift, inspire, and unite communities.

The film, shot, edited, and directed by Kozloff, stands as one of the most significant undertakings of his life and career. Guests will enjoy a newly created short version of the full-length documentary while learning about the story and impact of bringing public art to the North Shore amongst friends and neighbors.

COMMUNITY VOICES

In the restaurant industry, our goal is to create an exceptional experience for every guest. After joining the Highwood Chamber of Commerce, it was refreshing to find a team equally invested in helping us do that while also growing our presence in the community.

Through events like Eat. Drink. Highwood., we have reached new guests across Lake County and introduced more people to Disotto. The Chamber has created valuable opportunities for both exposure and collaboration among local businesses.

What stands out most is the genuine care and support they provide. The Chamber has built a community where business owners can connect, share ideas, support one another, and work together to strengthen Highwood.

Thank you to Jennifur and the entire Chamber team. We truly appreciate your dedication and are grateful to be part of such a strong local business community.
