Now its twelfth year, the Riverside Dance Festival, a partnership between Ballet Vero Beach and Riverside Theatre, is an intensive, two-week dance program that offers students the opportunity to work and learn from some of the best current American modern dance companies. The culmination of the two weeks of classes and workshops results in a FREE public performance on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 2pm.
“Continuing the pursuit to bring the best of dance to our own backyard, Ballet Vero Beach is thrilled to present Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre to be part of this year’s Dance Festival,” said Adam Schell, Artistic Director of Ballet Vero Beach and Director of Dance Education at Riverside. “It is a very unique experience and I cannot wait to see what the students and professionals present at the end of the Festival.”
Started in 2012 under the direction of Mr. Schnell, accepted students from the local area and around the country will experience daily technique classes with Terminus dancers and Riverside’s distinguished faculty. The twelfth Riverside Dance Festival runs July 24 through August 5 and accepted a limited number of dedicated dancers from ages 10 and up.
|
Based out of Atlanta, Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre was founded in 2017 by five principal dance artists, who struck out to create their own unique vision of dance. By bringing together the classical and contemporary dance forms and strengths of each of its principal artists, the company has become celebrated for the creation of daring and theatrical dance works.
Through performance and contemporary storytelling, the company intends to expand conventional definitions of ballet and serve as a cultural terminus for the greater arts community.
| |
Previous renown dance companies that have participated in the Riverside Dance Festival include: Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami, Prometheus Dance, Ballet Nebraska, Wylliams/Henry Contemporary Dance, CORE Dance, konverjdans and Ariel Rivka Dance Company.
The Riverside Dance Festival performance will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 2pm. This performance is FREE and No tickets are required! For more information on the Riverside Dance Festival, call the Box Office at 772-231-6990 or online at www.riversidetheatre.com.
Terminus Modern Ballet will also perform as part of the 2023-24 season of Ballet Vero Beach. The Ballet Vero Beach performances are Friday, August 4 and Saturday, August 5 at 7:30pm. Tickets to the Ballet Vero Beach performances are $10-$75. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Box Office at 772-231-6990 or online at www.riversidetheatre.com.

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)
Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining"!
