Beginning 1/1/2027, eligibility for low wage employees to enroll on Medicaid health insurance will be expanded beyond the income test. There will be a brand-new hours requirement which triggers a double edged sword…the requirement to work minimum hours may increase hours and income that may remove HHAs from Medicaid. How will your business need to change and what are the new potential new hurdles?
