ArBrew Day at Southern Ohio Brewing

Celebrate Arbor Day as we honor the vital role trees play in our environment! The City of Beavercreek’s Tree Advisory Board is teaming up with Southern Ohio Brewing to bring you a unique way to toast the trees — tree-themed craft beer brewed specially for the occasion.
Visit this family-friendly event in a laid-back outdoor setting where you can chat with experts at the “Ask an Arborist” table, take home a free tree sapling (while supplies last), and enjoy a forest-inspired beer that truly captures the spirit of the woods. Cheers to trees!

The City of Beavercreek's Tree Advisory Board will celebrate Arbor Day by educating students at Valley Elementary School through a hands-on tree planting activity. Trees provide numerous benefits to the environment, our communities and our overall well-being.

Perennial Trade Day
Saturday, April 25, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Rotary Park Shelter, 2260 Dayton-Xenia Rd.
Bring up to 10 plants to trade! During each of the 10 rounds, participants are invited to choose one item from a variety of plants, tools, books, and containers to take home. All plants must be labeled. Those who bring an eleventh plant can participate in the plant raffle, where the winner takes home a surplus of additional plants.

Register for Summer Camp Today!
The parks division is excited to be offering two traditional summer camp locations this year for children ages 6 to 13.
- Monday through Friday, June 8 to July 31, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Fairbrook Elementary School, 260 N. Fairfield Road. Extended care is available for an additional fee.
- Monday through Friday, June 8 to August 7, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at C.I. Beaver Hall, 3696 Highmont Street
Campers will explore nature, play exciting games, enjoy hands-on activities and crafts, and dive into themed weekly adventures, plus awesome off-site field trips! Spots are limited - don't miss out on a summer of fun!

The outing is played in memory of Fairborn Parks & Recreation Superintendent Tom Birt. Tom was an avid golfer and strong advocate in the field of parks and recreation.
