CALLING ALL LEADERS

March 17th will be a special Lodge Leaders Day! All lodge officers and anyone aspiring to be a better lodge leader will be welcome to attend a day of information and fellowship at Masonic Pathways in Alma! Lodge Leadership Day will feature speakers from the Grand Lodge, Charitable Foundation, Outreach & Member Care and others. Topics will include officer duties, maximizing your Lodge Charity Account’s impact, support for your brothers in need, improving lodge communications and much more! Also, seats are filling up quickly for MWB Bob Conley’s spring leadership series! These classes are one day, from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and are designed to improve yourself as a leader in your lodge and in life! JOINT DEGREES WITH PRINCE HALL

There will once again be a series of Degrees put on jointly with the Grand Lodge of Michigan Officers and the MW Prince Hall Grand Lodge Officers!

  • Entered Apprentice, February 4th – Held in the Detroit Temple’s Commandery Asylum at 1:00 p.m. Prince Hall Grand Lodge Officers will confer the degree, Grand Lodge of Michigan Officers will handle the lecture and charge.
  • Fellowcraft, March 4th – Held at the Grand Rapids Temple, 1:00 p.m. gavel. GL of Michigan Officers will confer the degree, Prince Hall Grand Lodge Officers will handle the Middle Chamber, lecture and charge.
  • Master Mason, April 23rd – Held at the Kalamazoo Radisson as part of Prince Hall’s Annual Communication, 12:00 Noon gavel.

  • Zion Lodge #1 invites all regular Masons to join them for their annual ceremony honoring Brother President George Washington and his Masonic legacy. The group will gather in the south lobby of the Marriott Renaissance Center at 3:30 p.m. and then march to the Washington statue at Mariners Church for a wreath-laying ceremony.
