As we have made personal calls to our members and families from our Clubhouses, and through feedback on our website community needs assessment form , we have discovered that close to 90% have identified the need to obtain cleaning & hygiene supplies, and food. We are ready and prepared to provide these resources to those in need by delivering a bucket of supplies and pre-packaged boxes of food right to their doorstep with our BGCWPA vans.
Any amount of support helps. Whether through sponsoring a $20 Hygiene Kit or helping to fund a day of Summer Camp for a local youth upon our reopening, your tax deductible donation will go directly to purchasing food, acquiring supplies, paying for staff, and addressing the needs directly related to the emergency at hand.
Today Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania, along with the nation, are facing a time full of uncertainty and fear. At these trying moments, we hope you and your families remain positive and well. “It Is Better to Light One Candle Than Curse the Darkness.”  By working together we can and will continue to make a difference in the lives of the several thousand youth we serve and who need us most now more than ever.
Thank You
To our nonprofit partners, community partners, local businesses, and individual donors supporting BGCWPA's relief efforts!
As BGCWPA continues to ReIMAGINE the way we serve our members, families, and communities in trying times, BGCWPA is grateful to be partnering with Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank to distribute pre-packed food pantry boxes to those in immediate need over the coming months ahead. BGCWPA and Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank are committed to making sure all of our community members have access to basic necessities even if they don’t have consistent or reliable transportation.

Over the past few weeks, InstaClubhouse members have been busy having fun, learning, and connecting with staff members and other youth from across all of our BGCWPA Clubhouses and school districts!

During Clubhouse closures, InstaClubhouse provides our members access to fun, social activities that touch on academic and career readiness, and provides them the BGCWPA experience our members count on every day. Members can participate each day with live sessions and recorded videos, with STEM, literacy, wellness and physical fitness as just some of the activities we are offering virtually.

Allowing our members to continue interacting in real-time can help support youth's social-emotional needs and have a powerful impact on children's daily lives during this difficult time.
