Meet your future employees! More than 400 high school students from four local school districts will be coming together for the Youth Career Expo on April 20th at the Menomonie High School. Students who participate in the event will be eager to learn about employment positions available for high school students, internships, post-secondary education needs, scholarships, and much more. This expo-style event is your opportunity to help educate and build your future workforce. This is a great opportunity to market your open positions to students and promote your career pathways!

DWD Launch 'Winning with Wisconsin’s Workforce' Initiative 
On the heels of his 2023 State of the State address announcement of more than $190 million in investments to bolster Wisconsin’s workforce, Gov. Tony Evers and Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) Secretary Amy Pechacek have announced a new “Winning with Wisconsin’s Workforce” initiative to continue building on the administration’s groundbreaking workforce development efforts. The initiative includes a statewide series of forums designed to highlight workforce development investments, available funding, resources to aid competitiveness, and local successes with worker recruitment and retention.
