Closing Chatham elevator bids


-Green across the board for corn, soybean, and wheat futures to close out the week. For the week July corn lost 1.5 cents, July soybeans gained 15.5 cents, and July wheat gained 20.75 cents.

-Crude and US indices trading higher and CAD lower.

-US weekly export sale report showed old crop sales of corn at 37.10 mil bushels, 7.14 of soybeans, and -1.80 of wheat. Percentage complete of USDA export estimate sits at close to 99% for corn, 97% for soybeans, and 95% for wheat. There are 13 reporting weeks left for old crop corn and soybeans, this was the last week for old crop wheat.

-Argentina continues to progress through harvest, with soybean harvest close to 89% complete.

-COT report showed funds were sellers of corn and soybean futures this week, and slightly net buyers of wheat.
