Closing Chatham elevator bids

Corn and wheat futures closed lower today, and not much change to soybean futures. For the week thus far, Dec corn futures are up 2 cents from Friday's close, Nov soybeans down 34 cents, and Sept wheat down 14.25 cents. US weekly export sales for old crop were the following, corn 4.74 mil bu, soybeans 8.15 mil bu, and wheat 12.49 mil bu. Corn and soybeans were less than last week. Averages needed for the remaining 3 weeks in the old crop calendar for corn and beans to reach USDA's export projection is 17.54/week for corn, and 4.03 mil bu for soybeans. New crop soybean sales this week were 49.39 mil, good to see new crop sales happening after a slow start. New crop corn sales were reported at 31.51 mil bu.
