Fun in Spring Arbor!

The Spring Arbor-Village Crossing branch had an open house on Thursday, August 11. Pizza from Slice of Spice, a Biggby coffee bar, and cupcakes were just some of the goodies that were available to attendees, in addition to branch tours and a Tycoon Typhoon money machine. We were even able to get a couple of our CNB team members in on the fun!

CNB met Tyler Braden!

CNB was the presenting sponsor for the Wings & Strings concerts with Tyler Braden on September 8 and 9. The concert on Thursday, September 8 included an acoustic-style concert and the opportunity to meet Tyler.

While the Tecumseh Team may have some newer faces, they have become experts at catching fraud.

At the beginning of August, the team caught a fraudulent check. The customer was attempting to cash a check for $3,950.00 and stated it was for a power washing job. However, there was several inconsistencies in the customer's story about the actual job and the location of the job.

Along with the fraud check, the team also caught a customer potentially structuring. The customer was consistently making deposits around $9,500.00, sometimes more than one on the same day, trying to avoid the CTR reporting threshold.

Jackson Friendly Home Donation

CNB recently donated $15,000 to the Jackson Friendly Home in support of their operations and activities.

Salvation Army Back to School Event

CNB donated snacks and water to the Salvation Army for their Back to School event in August.

School Supply Drive

The Hanover branch collected school supplies through most of July and August for Hanover-Horton Schools.

Greater Lenawee Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing

The Greater Lenawee Chamber of Commerce held their annual golf outing at the Raisin Valley Golf Club on Thursday, August 12.
