Have you ever been scrolling through your Facebook Newsfeed or been on a website and saw an ad for something you thought was really cool, but you scrolled by to finish your search? When you came back, the ad was gone or you moved on to something else, only to remember the ad later down the road? Well, this happens millions of times each day. It is not only frustrating to you as a consumer, but to business owners as well. Ugh!
Having a multifaceted
marketing strategy is crucial
. Sending out a postcard to 500 homes one time is not going to work. You'd get more satisfaction using that money to take your spouse out for dinner and a movie. You must be consistent
and place your product or service in places where your target market is looking or located.
There are techniques and strategies, which you can use to get great results without breaking the bank. Do a mailer to those 500 homes, then hit them with some Facebook ads, then come back with another mailer to the same 500. Measure the results and if successful, hit 1000 in a different location.
At the end of the day, you just need to have a strategy and once you find what works, stick with it until the ROI is in the negative.
