We see many times as we move through life, companies we purchased from or pay monthly fees to do not reach out to us and keep us informed or just say, "Hi". I am not talking about the Geico's and Visa's of the world, but local businesses like your AC company, lawn guys and even your doctor. When was the last time you heard from your irrigation company?
Not all of your clients think of you first when they need your service, especially, if you have not reached out to them in 6 months. You HAVE to stay relevant and put your name in front of them, so when the time comes, or their neighbor asks for a referral, they think of you without hesitation. We call this TOMA, Top Of Mind Awareness. In my opinion, the best and least expensive way to do this is through eNewsletters.
eNewsletters allow you to get into many inboxes of those people in your database (as long as they opted in.) Also, it is a VERY economical way to have TOMA with your clients, even if they don't open the email. See, when it goes into their inbox, they scroll down and BAM, you just touched them with your name. TOMA!
