Cutting Through November’s Noise

As the holidays approach, marketing tends to ramp up from every business in every sector.

For consumers, that means they’re about to be surrounded by a lot of excess noise—and not the fun kind, like joyful carols and sleigh bells.

Nothing makes people shut down faster than overstimulation. And once someone is closed off, it’s almost impossible to reach them—even with useful and valuable information.

So if you’re planning a seasonal campaign that will provide your audience with important messaging about upcoming sales, events, and other timely opportunities, then you’ll want to make sure that it will stand out from the clamor.

You’ll need to be smart about timing. Clever about choosing your channels. Splashy in your copy and art. And authentic about your reason for outreach—your “why.”

Here are a few examples of where and how marketing expertise can help you break through:

  • Gift-Giving: Your upcoming sales, shopping events, and shipping deadlines
  • Thanksgiving: Sending appreciation to clients, customers, friends, family
  • Black Friday: Hours, offers, locations, customer service inquiries
  • Social Occasions: Catering, invitations, guest lists, organization, decor
  • Special Events: Advertising, fundraising, generating buzz, signage, swag bags
  • Marketing Essentials: Boosting brand awareness, word of mouth, customer loyalty

If you want to be strategic about deploying your upcoming marketing messages, we’re here to help you cut through the noise like it’s just another turkey on Thanksgiving Day.

Most importantly, we want you to know that it’s not too late—whether you’re looking for a consultation, a campaign touch-up, or a quick turnaround on something brand-new.

Meet With Our Team

Introducing one of our newest clients, The Pride Center at Equality Park! We are thrilled to be working with such an amazing organization that provides so much love, support, and education to our community.

The Pride Center strives to provide a welcoming, safe space that celebrates, nurtures, and empowers the LGBTQ+ community. They work hard to meet the distinct health, social, educational, socio-economic, and safety needs of both the LGBTQ+ community and their allies.

We had a great Discovery Session with them this week, and we're all extremely excited to get the ball rolling and turn our ideas into reality. Stay tuned for updates on our work with The Pride Center!

Our community highlight this month is all about Birch State Park and the Walk with Friends event happening there on November 4th. Our team will be attending this event, and we are so excited to show our support for the beautiful Birch State Park while we enjoy a serene early morning walk on the trails.

Additionally, our own Chris Madsen Bickley was honored by having this commemorative stone placed in Marti’s Meditation Garden in recognition of her service as President of the Board of the Friends of Birch State Park. Make sure to go check it out if you're ever in the area!

This month we are celebrating not one, but TWO amazing members of our team, Kerry and Susie!

Kerry will be celebrating her two-year anniversary of working at Mad 4 Marketing on November 8th, and Susie will be celebrating her birthday on November 12th!

These two lovely ladies have made working at the office an absolute pleasure, and Mad 4 Marketing wouldn't be where it is today without them.

Exploring the Marketing Multiverse

The multiverse is a recurring theme in pop culture; there seems to be no shortage of public fascination with the theory that—given that space is potentially infinite—all possible universes may potentially be existing, in all of their variations, at the same time (to put it simply).

What if the same thing could be said for marketing? ...read more

Your Top Marketing Hits

“Oh, you’re a fan of [BAND NAME]? Name five of their top hits.” Saying that someone needs to be able to name “top hits” if they’re really a fan of something—typically a band—has turned into a joke and a meme.

But as marketers, it can also be something of a thought exercise ...read more
