MHRB is always looking ahead to make sure local behavioral health services continue to meet the needs of our growing communities. As outlined in Ohio Revised Code Chapter 340.03, boards like MHRB serve as the community planning agency for mental health and addiction services, helping identify local needs, set priorities, and strengthen partnerships across the region. That planning work happens year-round through conversations with providers, schools, hospitals, first responders, families, and community members.
By listening to the community and using data to guide decisions, the Board ensures people of all ages have access to prevention programs, crisis services, treatment, and recovery supports close to home. It’s all part of building a healthier, more connected community where help and hope are available when they’re needed most.
