Our Engineering Club's (Neptune Engineering) plans for their newly built ROV named MARV (Marlette's Awesome Remote Vehicle).
We have been practicing with MARV in a full-size pool at Caro High School over the past two weeks as students prepare to dive MARV on several shipwrecks in Thunderbay National Marine Sanctuary next Friday.
Next week Thursday, May 12th, at 4 pm in the High School Media Center, our students will be giving a presentation of their work, designs, and objectives for their dive to local law enforcement agencies. The students also want to make sure that you and our school community are also invited to attend this presentation.
Our students have been working on this project since the first week of October and have spent several hours after school on Wednesdays along with 1-2 Saturdays a month to get to this point in their project. I know our students are very excited to show off their hard work and explain the project. If you see any of the following students, please congratulate them on all their hard work and we hope to show you our work next Thursday!
