The Virginia Wesleyan men's soccer team shutout the Royals of Regent University 5-0 on Sunday afternoon, October 3, at Foster Field in Virginia Beach, VA. Five different Marlins scored in the victory.  

Potter named ODAC Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week
The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) office announced the Athletes of the Week for events completed during the week of Sept. 27 - Oct. 3, on Monday afternoon, Oct. 4. Virginia Wesleyan's men's soccer keeper, Griffin Potter, was selected as the ODAC Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week after helping the Marlins go 2-0-1 on the week.

The Virginia Wesleyan women's soccer team fell to the No. 4 Captains of Christopher Newport University 3-0 on Sunday, October 3, in Newport News, VA.

Marlins defeat the Ferrum College Panthers in straight sets
The Virginia Wesleyan University women's volleyball team defeated the Panthers of Ferrum College in straight sets on Saturday morning in TowneBank Arena in Virginia Beach, VA.

Cabaddu finishes as runner up in B3 singles flight at ITA Regionals
The Virginia Wesleyan men's tennis team sent a couple of athletes to the 2021 Fall ITA Regional tournament hosted by the University of Mary Washington from Oct. 1-3. First year Francis Cabaddu finished as the runner up in his flight.

Marlin Field Hockey falls 2-0 to the Eagles of Bridgewater College
The Virginia Wesleyan University field hockey team opened up ODAC league action with a loss to the Eagles of Bridgewater College 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at Birdsong Field in Virginia Beach, VA. 
Men's Cross Country
Spence leads Men's Cross Country at the Don Cathcart Invitational
Colton Spence led the Virginia Wesleyan University men's cross country team at the Don Cathcart Invitational hosted by Salisbury University in Salisbury, MD.
Women's Cross Country
Women's Cross Country places 9th at the Don Cathcart Invitational
The Virginia Wesleyan University women's cross country team finished ninth as a whole with 221 points at the Don Cathcart Invitational hosted by Salisbury University in Salisbury, MD. Haley Witt led the Marlins with a 26th place finish.
