Marshall Market is devoted to serving our food-insecure students and their families this season and throughout the year. The Market's snacks, groceries, household supplies, and holiday extras bring the love and support of our fabulous community to those who need that extra help. Please consider donating a $25 gift card or two to help support our families over winter break.

We are collecting $25 Walmart gift cards through December 12. Please deliver them to the front office in an envelope marked "Market."

Thank you for your support!

Karen SpurlingNurse

What do you enjoy most about your job? Being a Nurse in the school setting has been a wonderful experience, there's no place I'd rather be.

What is a fun fact about yourself, or do you have hidden talent or hobby outside of school? I love to swim and roller skate. A fun fact is when you see me skating, picture me as a professional roller derby player.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? I want to see the "Northern Lights"!

What advice would you give to students about making the most of high school? Middle school may have been fun, but high school is another story all together—it's the beginning of adulthood. So, remember to carry yourselves like the young ladies and gentlemen you are… and “Watch your mouth!”

If you could swap places with a student for a day, what class or activity would you pick? If, I swapped places for a day I would like all the math classes.

If you could give one piece of advice to Marshall parents, what would it be? Parents just because the children ask for things doesn't mean you have to give it to them.

What’s one thing parents can doat home to support their student’s success? Give your children Quality time by letting them do the talking instead of you, learn to just listen.
