Join the PTSA at our November 20th meeting at 7 pm for a discussion into understanding trends in teen and parent screen use.  We will review findings from two recent Common Sense Media reports: The New Normal: Teens, Screens, and Sleep and The Common Sense Census: Media Use by Teens and Tweens. We will also look at excerpts from Digital Minimalism by Cal Newport. Come and discuss this hot topic with your peers.  Discussion will be facilitated by Jennifer Manise, a proud mom of two GCM students who probably do a better job with screens than she does.  Jennifer is also the Executive Director of the Longview Foundation and works to bring global perspectives into K-12 education in the U.S.
