I trust that you are all doing well. I am on round three of antibiotics and little change so far. I guess I will keep whatever I have until it gets better...


 

May will be an interesting month - not only because it is my last as your minister but because there are five baptisms! 2 at 9:00 am on May 8th and one at 10:30. Two on May 15th at 9:00 and one on May 22nd at 10:30.

Flowers in the sanctuary this morning are placed by Don Gilmar in loving memory of his wife Lois.

A sincere THANK YOU from the 2017 Dominican Mission Team to the organizers, the volunteers and the guests for making the Spirit of Marshall Event with Kenny Munshaw and Steve Hogg such a resounding success. The 2017 Dominican Mission Team is now full. Your ongoing support of our work in the Dominican Republic will continue to improve the lives of so many living in an impoverished country.
 
Electronics Recycling
Outreach is hosting the 2nd annual Electronics event on Friday May 13 (4-8 p.m.) and Saturday May 14th (8-4 p.m.) Please consider recycling your used electronics and diverting them from our landfills.  A full list is posted on the Outreach bulletin board. Examples of items included are desktop computers, portable computers, keyboards, mice, desktop printers, photocopiers, multi-function devices, cellular phones, corded and cordless telephones, display devices, televisions, monitors, personal or portable Audio/Video Systems, as well as telephone answering machines.
 
Robin's Roast
Tickets are sold out for Robin's retirement celebration on May 29th and there will be a combined service on Sunday, May 30th  at 10 am as a farewell reception will take place after.

Upper Room
The May/June copies should be available by next Sunday.

Rummage Sale
The UCW & Outreach committee are holding a Rummage Sale THIS  Saturday April 30th, 2016. Gently worn items would be greatly appreciated including clothing, shoes, and purses. Drop off is no later than Friday April 29th at noon.   The Rummage sale starts at 9am and goes until 1 on Saturday.
 
English Tea Luncheon  
The tickets are sold out for the luncheon on May 18th.
