Spiritual Growth and Transformation
And all of us... are being transformed into the (image of Christ) from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord, the Spirit. (2Cor 3:8)

We know that God loves and accepts us exactly as we are,  and  that God's purpose for us is our transformation into the image of Jesus. As a church, part of our mission is to help with that transformation. As a starting point, we'd like to hear how your transformation is going and what you are hoping for in the next year.

On Thanksgiving, you will be invited to fill in a green form in the pews, answering these questions:
Tell us how God has changed or transformed you spiritually in the past year.
Tell us how you would like God to change or transform you spiritually in the coming year.

If you would like to answer the questions in advance, or if you will not be at worship this weekend, you can fill in the attached word document and then either print it out and bring it in, or email it to the church:   [email protected].

Covenanting Service
It is time for all of us to commit with Rev. Étienne and Presbytery into this new chapter of Marshall's ministry.    He will be formally installed as our minister during our  covenanting service held in our sanctuary on Sunday October 14th at 3pm.    Please come and join in the joyful vows that will be shared by all of us.

Name Tags
Please wear your name tags during the Services so that Rev. Étienne can learn your names.  This is also helpful in identifying the visitors among us and making them feel welcome.

Food Donations for Living Rock Ministries
Don't forget your food donations for Living Rock Ministries this Sunday.  If you did not participate in the Reverse Offering from this past Sunday, you can still contribute!  Just bring in non-perishable food items.  If you have any questions please contact Linda Craig at [email protected].

Marshall's Men - Tigercat Game
The Tigercats are looking like contenders for the post-season.  Marshall's Men plan to attend their home game on Saturday, November 3 (7 pm) against the Montreal Alouettes, which is the last game of the regular season.  This is a "Fan Appreciation" night and is also the 149th Anniversary of Hamilton Pro Football .  The ticket price is $35, $25 of which will go toward the building of a Basic School in Ghana.  If you would like to attend, please email Dave Putnam ( [email protected]) before Tuesday, October 9.   Should be a great night.  Hope you'll come along.
