Thoughts and Prayers
In our thoughts and prayers are Baby Addison, Norm Stiles, the father of Diane May and Andrea McLean,  Charlotte Stewart's daughter-in-law and Rev. Étienne.

UPDATE CONCERNING REV. ETIENNE
This week Rev. Etienne started a period of disability leave, as recommended by his doctor.  He is expected to be away for at least three weeks.  Of course our minister is very disappointed that he will not be able to lead us through the Easter period. However, in the interest of his health and well being, this leave is a necessary step.  Arrangements have been made for worship leadership and emergency pastoral care in his absence.  During the coming weeks please remember Rev. Etienne in your prayers.

For any pastoral care emergencies in Rev Étienne's absence, please contact Rev. Jeff Chalmers at  905-902-0337 .

Easter Envelopes
Easter is a time to be open to wonder, to be aware of how God can astonish us, and to be able to experience deep joy and hope. Easter is a time to be aware of how amazing even the gift of life is, and astounded by the powers and strengths having faith affords us. For that, may we express thanks and praise to God.

The Stewardship and Finance team invites you to consider making a special Easter thank you-offering to God in support of the ministry and mission we share as a community of faith at Marshall Memorial United. Thank you for being part of our church family. Thank you for being you. Thank you for all the gifts you already offer.

Service Participants
Please take a moment and prayerfully consider being an active participant during either of our morning services.  We need Readers for the Scripture every Sunday as well as Servers for Communion.  Please sign up at the bulletin board across from the Office.

Leslie Johnston, our former Presbytery rep, is interested in sharing the position with another Marshall member. The council will meet up to 3 times each year but we have been assured that some form of livestreaming will be available to cut down on driving. The first meeting of the Council is May 24-26 in Port Elgin, Ontario. For more information please contact Charlotte at [email protected].
