This Sunday
Worship with us this Sunday at 9am with the Band or at 10:30am with the Marshall Choir as we focus on Remembrance day.

LIVING ROCK FOOD DRIVE
This week we will be collecting food for Living Rock Ministries. Last year, Living Rock responded to over 26,000 visits, providing essential supports to one of Hamilton's most vulnerable populations: Youth between the ages of 13-25, who are affected by significant risk factors such as loss of family, poverty, substance misuse and mental health. Dry goods and canned goods, including soup, pasta, vegetables and pasta sauce are always welcome!

We appreciate your prayer requests and pray for those you have named. We would love to know the outcome of our prayers and welcome any updates. As the prayer list continues to grow, we will pray for each person for one month. If we have not received an update, they will be removed from the list.

Seniors' Social
Join us Monday from 1-2:30 in the Gathering Place for a cup of coffee or tea and a sweet and enjoy the company of other Seniors in our community.

December House

Christmas Craft & Bark Sale
The Sunday School class is busy at work making amazing treats and treasures that will be sold after the December 8th service. The money raised will go to support Jenny Mae.

Outreach will once again be selling chocolate bark (White, milk and dark chocolate) with nuts, craisins or plain after the service on December 8th as well.

Guy's Christmas Luncheon
Once again we will be hosting Guy's Christmas Luncheon in honor of Guy Mitchell on Friday, November 29th. It is an annual outreach event and it is one that we all look forward to with great anticipation. The joyous look on the faces of our guests as they enjoy turkey dinner and Santa coming to deliver their goodie bags. It can only happen each year because of your generous participation in giving your volunteer time and signing up to donate food or goodie bag items.  If you would prefer to make a donation, please put it in an envelope marked "Guy's Dinner" and leave it in the offering plate or at the office. Thanks as always. The sheets are located on the Outreach bulletin board in the foyer.

The Marshall Memorial Chancel Choir Presents "Have you Hear?" - A Celtic Christmas Celebration on Sunday, December 8th at 3pm. Refreshments and Appetizers to follow. A Free Will Offering will be collected.

December 14, 2019 - Journey to Bethlehem
Now is the time to start preparing for our major community outreach event: Journey to Bethlehem Marketplace.   This is when we open our doors to our community and invite them to join us for storytelling, carol singing, craft making and cookie eating to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
 
Last year we welcomed over 200 guests, and we are hoping for even more this year! We are currently looking for a few people to help organize and publicize the event.   If you are interested please sign up in the foyer or contact Judy VanDuzer at [email protected]

St. Andrew's United Church Hamilton is having a Carnival November 9, 2019 from 9:30-1:30pm.  Features include:  Candy Cane Cafe, Home Baking, Country Deli, Kitchen Corner, Men's Work Bench and Hand-Crafted Gifts.

Micah House Fundraiser
Micah House Fundraising Banquet - November 21st at the Michelangelo Banquet Centre. Incredible guest speaker, prime rib dinner and more! Come celebrate & support this worthwhile ministry to refugees. No cost to attend but an offering will be taken and you must register in advance either by calling 905-296-4387 ex2, or by going to the website at  www.micahhouse.ca .  All the details are listed on the website.

Trivia Night
