CHRISTIAN DEVELOPMENT
Spiritual Practice for November: Breath Prayer
Last month, we reintroduced the spiritual practice of praying with beads with a modification of St. Patrick's famous prayer.   This month, we will focus on the spiritual practice of breath prayer.

Spiritual practices are those things that we do on a regular basis that help ground and grow our faith, which God uses to transform us into the likeness of Christ for the sake of others.

Breath prayer is a practice that helps us to do as Paul instructs us, which is to pray without ceasing. It is a form of centering or focusing prayer that, because of its simplicity, can be easily incorporated into our daily activities.

Attached here is a brief description of breath prayer, as well as some suggestions to help you get started. We hope that this practice will be a blessing to you that will help you experience more of the presence of God in your life.

Read and Reflect:  Attached is the November calendar in case you missed it.
