MAGic 4th is a fun-filled, family-friendly, festival and fireworks show, free for the entire community. It is hosted on the Fourth of July every year by Marshfield Assembly of God, 1/2 mile west of the light on “OO” highway.

With so many activities being scheduled on the 2nd and 3rd this year, you might be looking for something exciting and relaxing for the family on Independence Day (4th of July) itself.

The MAGic 4th has become known for its incredible firework display over the past 20 years.

They are inviting the community to join us as early as 6:00 pm. Bring your family, chairs, and food if you like; however, pandemic safe meals (Hot dogs, Chips, Cookies) will be provided as long as they last.

***IMPORTANT NOTICE***
Due to the recent surge in COVID infections in our area, they will not be organizing activities, but will still make some available for your family to self-manage and enjoy.

Following the activities at 8 pm, Jackson Heights will perform on the MAGic 4th stage.

Following the Jackson Heights concert, they will end the night with another fantastic and explosive night-sky firework show!

After the parade, Chelsey James will be performing!

Chelsey James is a force, unwilling to step aside or be overlooked. Redefining the norm for women in country, she’s unapologetically bold in her songwriting and performing, and won’t take no for an answer when it comes to defining her worth as a female artist. With no more room to hold back, she’s rising to the occasion of serving as a prime example of strength while staying true to the impressive musicality she’s known for. Her signature country sound is laced with a rock edge supported by her powerhouse vocals, having been praised by Nashville’s veteran producer Kenny Lamb, who says “Chelsey has a voice made for big melodies and guitar riffs. She is a rare vocalist, and a real performer.

COVID-19 Update from the Webster County Health Unit
  • Attending gatherings to celebrate Independence Day increases your risk of getting and spreading COVID-19.

  • The safest way to celebrate this year is virtually, with people who live with you, or outside, at least 6 feet apart from others.

  • Being fully vaccinated significantly lessens your risk of getting COVID-19 if you are exposed.

  • Not everyone who develops COVID-19 experiences symptoms. Wearing a mask helps us from spreading the disease unknowingly to others.
