Paws to Read

Children have fun reading to trained therapy dogs. Readers gain confidence and improve their reading fluency. The PAWS to Read program is a partnership with the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast. The recommended age for participation is 7-12 years. The participants must bring a book with them to each session to read to the dog. Fall Critter Magnet Craft Kit Pickup

STEAM Sunday: Craft Challenge Take-and-Make Pickup

This STEAM Sunday special will be a craft challenge make, take, engineer, and test at home activity. Geared towards grades K-5. This special STEAM Sunday event is made possible by a generous donation from Clare and Molly Tyler to The Library Foundation of Martin County, Inc. This endowment enhances all STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) events throughout the Martin County Library System with the hopes of inspiring the future generation to pursue excellence in one of the STEM fields. First Aid! Children will learn how to respond when first aid is needed. Be able to identify items that should be in a first aid kit. Explain basic ways to approach common injuries.
