The application period for the 2024 Mary Jane O’Neill Fellowship in International Eye Banking is now open. Established in 2001, the Mary Jane O'Neill Fellowship provides medical directors or technical personnel from the international community of eye banks with the skills necessary to develop, operate, and maintain a successful eye bank program – ultimately, reducing blindness around the world due to corneal disease or injury. 

The 2024 Mary Jane O’Neill Fellowship will bring an individual to the United States for a 2 week period during May/June 2024 to intern at an EBAA member host eye bank (Advancing Sight Network) and attend the EBAA Annual Meeting, June 5-8, 2024, in Kansas City, Missouri. Once a Fellow is selected, the EBAA will work with the eye bank and the Fellow to determine the actual dates of the program.

Travel, hotel, and food expenses are included in the Fellowship. NOTE: Fellows must be able to speak and understand English fluently.
