Welcome
Dear ,

I often like to start these newsletters out with a comment or two about the weather and this month I am pleased to report that we have had more snow so far in December than I think we had during all of last winter! Hip hip hooray - let it snow, let it snow!

This Year's Christmas Tree Adventure**
The end of the year is always a time of reflection for me. I recall fondly the wonderful clients we have helped to sell their Vermont properties and all of the new people we have welcomed to the area. No job has ever given me more personal and professional satisfaction as that of being a REALTOR. It's not always easy, especially when the market isn't ideal, but the ups and downs and the chance to help and guide our clients during one of the biggest, most complicated and emotional times of their lives is an honor and a pleasure.

2017 promises great things for Mary Mitchell Miller Real Estate. Kathy and I are working on a number of new listings that will hit the market in the next couple of weeks and we will continue to explore ways to enhance our business using tried and true strategies, with an attention to detail and one-on-one personalized services, and advances in digital and electronic technologies! The future . . .  bring it on!

With my very best wishes,

- Claudia Harris

'Tis the Season to be Thankful
As the end of the year approaches, I like to reflect back on the past 12 months and count my blessings to have good health, a career that I absolutely love, a beautiful home, and my wonderful friends and family. I would also like to take the time to remember and appreciate the community I live in and support the organizations that help those in need and the missions and causes that are important to me.

Magic Mountain Has New Ownership!
Magic Mountain has new owners and the community is pretty excited about it! Helmed by a small group of committed investors (and long-time Magic skiers), Ski Magic LLC acquired the property in late November. A ton of money and energy has already been pumped (quite literally) into the mountain with new snow making equipment in place and ready for the season, improvements to the lifts and base lodge and a slew of new programs and pass offerings.

Magic offers what I like to call the true
old-fashioned Vermont ski experience - steep difficult terrain, limited grooming, fun friendly staff and a true sense of and commitment to fun and the family can be seen in everything from the affordable ticket and pass prices to the spirit of their volunteer work days to prep the mountain for the 2016/2017 season.
Ticket, season pass and event information can be found on their fantastic, user-friendly and informative new website at http://www.magicmtn.com/.

Let's hope there is a ton of snow and a great ski season ahead!

Opening Day is slated for December 17.
