Springtime Greetings!
Warmest greetings to all of our Friends of the TRF in Maryland - we know it's an exciting time of year across the Maryland horse community!
We are happy to share this
second edition of the new "
Maryland Friends of the TRF Newsletter" to celebrate & showcase the support we are building for our horses and our TRF Second Chances Program in Maryland!
Since our first newsletter in January, we've had some great things happening in Maryland and we're delighted to share the news - and engage our friends in our efforts over the days ahead.
As a quick snapshot of Spring 2019 activities:
* Feb 6th: TRF Second Chances graduation. Congratulations to Richard!
* March 17th:
A special group of Maryland Friends of the TRF gathered at the beautiful Sagamore Farm on March 17th. Thanks to all who attended!
* April 18th: VIP Visit Day at TRF Second Chances Farm introduced a great group of Maryland Thoroughbred Industry Leaders to our horses, Sarah and the TRF Second Chances program.
Looking ahead to the summer 2019, we are excited to
announce the creation of our first TRF Sanctuary Farm in Maryland, in partnership with the
Renaissance Equestrian Foundation in Taneytown, MD.
Stay tuned for more details and our public announcement as we bring more TRF horses to Maryland as ambassadors for Thoroughbred Aftercare!
For now, enjoy the recap of recent events and be on the lookout for upcoming programs.
We'll be back in touch soon!
