Girls in Physics Event
Wheaton Library, May 21 at 2pm: Presented by Young Women in Bio. Designed for females in grades 6 through 8. Quantum computing is the future! Students will learn the fundamentals of quantum mechanics in an engaging, fun event! Interactive presentation with YouTube clips, simple problems, matching, and more! Play original quantum computing games to give students a taste of the real thing!
On May 18th, We are participating in DoMore24, the DMV's largest annual 24-hour online fundraiser, powered by United Way of the National Capital Area. This is a chance to support hundreds of local non-profits, including the Festival, and provide more STEM opportunity to students and families throughout Maryland!  
Magic & Science in Harford County
June 11, 11am-4pm: Presented by the new Discovery Center in Harford County. Join us for an fun event where you can play Agrowonomics, the Maryland STEM Festival’s video game, and talk to the game designer! Use your imagination to create STEM Snacks & stock up on your 2022 STEM Festival swag!
