Maryland Tech Council Announces Rebranding of Biotech Division to Reflect Role, Contributions of Life Sciences Industry in Maryland

The Maryland Tech Council, the state’s largest technology trade association supporting biotechnology and innovation in the state of Maryland, announced that it has renamed its biotech division "Maryland Life Sciences" in order to highlight the Tech Council’s commitment to supporting the growing life sciences industry within the state.
Maryland Showed up BIG TIME at BIO in Boston!

Maryland was a force to be reckoned with when the Maryland Life Sciences Innovation Booth and the Maryland Department of Commerce pavilion participated in this year’s show, which brought together 231 Maryland Companies for a total of 18,289 attendees, 1,800 exhibitors and set a Guinness World Record for over 46,915 partnering meetings held.

The MTC VMS program is focused on Maryland companies in the life sciences and technology sectors whose CEO’s are preparing to raise their first or second round of venture capital or institution financing and have at least one person working full time on the business.
