At the Maryland Tech Council, we serve the life sciences, technology, and service provider companies that are saving and securing lives through innovation. This has been our mission for decades and we remain fully committed to it.
For 35 years, we have stood ground over multiple and tremendous changes, and our association is stronger for it. As our members grow, innovate and adapt to market forces, we also evolve. We are resilient and committed to you and are continually developing to meet the needs of our members.

The Maryland Tech Council is putting a campaign together on the “faces behind biotech innovation” and we would like to hear your story about how innovation has allowed you to live a fuller, healthier life.  Will you take our quick, two-question survey about your health care experience?

Mentoring Services:
Maryland Tech Council’s Venture Mentoring Program Expands to Serve Entrepreneurs across Maryland

Maryland Tech Council (MTC) announced today that, with the support of the Maryland Department of Commerce, the Maryland Tech Council Venture Mentoring Services (MTC VMS), will expand beyond Montgomery County to serve entrepreneurs throughout Maryland. The MTC VMS, which started just two years ago, has trained more than 60 mentors. The program uses a unique team approach to mentoring and is focused on technology and life sciences companies that are preparing to raise their first or second round of venture capital or institutional financing.

National Cybersecurity Awareness Month
Since 2004, National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM) has represented a collaborative effort between government, nonprofit and industry to ensure that all Americans have the information they need to stay safer and more secure online. Co-led by the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) and U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), NCSAM has grown exponentially – reaching consumers and organizations nationwide and encouraging all internet users to be #CyberAware.

Fina Biosolutions announces that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued a patent for expression and purification of the conjugate vaccine protein CRM197 in  E. coli.  CRM197 is a key component of many vaccine formulations utilized worldwide.
