2025 Mid-Atlantic VOAD Regional Conference - What is good here?

Beyond Band-Aids: Dismantling Systemic Inequities that Fuel Disaster Vulnerability - theme for 2025 Regional VOAD Conference brought together representatives from the VOAD Community in the Mid-Atlantic Region for two days to engage in critical conversations related to equity in disaster response.

Sessions led by Dr. Cassandra Davis, UNC-Chapel Hill and Dr. Simona Goldin, UNC were engaging and thought provoking. The speakers challenged participants to answer: what is good here? and to consider forms of capital with value beyond dollars and cents.

Larry Stoner retired earlier this year. He offers his gratitude to Maryland VOAD.

Thank you for the generous retirement gift to a local restaurant. The attached picture is most of our children and grandchildren. I am blessed to have a loving family that cares about each other, and I am blessed to have many loving friends I met through my MDS work along the way, you folks are part of that family. 

My prayer is that God will continue to bless each of you and the work happening in Crisfield.
