The Market will be open from 7:30 a.m. until Noon on May 5 th and will run every Saturday morning at these times until September 29 th. The weekly market is located at the corner of Fourth and Buchanan Streets in Downtown Maryville and features farm-fresh produce, locally made crafts and jewelry and fresh coffee and handmade donuts.

Second Saturday Screenings are to be held on the following dates: July 14, August 11, and September 8 . We highly recommend that people come out to the Market every week to support our farmers and to take charge of their health by taking advantage of these FREE screenings that are so important to their health.

The Maryville Farmers Market is hosted by the Host Lions Club.

FREE summer movie series! The first movie this month on July 11th is "Black Panther", rated PG-13. On July 18th the movie will be "Million Dollar Arm", rated PG.

Movies begin at 7:00 p.m. No food or drink is allowed in the theater. Check the Chamber's community event calendar to see summer movie series information in August.

Historical Society Call for Sport Objects, Photos, & Stories

Do you like sports?! If so, it is time to get excited because the Nodaway County Historical Society in Maryville is bringing to town the Smithsonian exhibit “Hometown Teams: How Sports Shape America.” It will be on display at the museum from October 12 th to December 2 nd and will be free to everyone!

To tell our local story, the Historical Society and the University Archives at Northwest Missouri State University are asking for your help. Were you on a championship team at Northwest or a local high school? Do you have grandpa’s letter jacket from decades ago? Do you have any of the old Marcel studio sport photographs? Bring your objects, photographs, and stories to our last “Call for Objects”

REGISTER BY July 15th for a 2-3 hour adventure which takes participants on a 100-mile route to places of interest and historical significance throughout Nodaway County as they decipher puzzling clues leading to their next destination. Staggered start times keep participants spread out and the goal is to gather all 15 clues and reach the final destination where a light 50’s diner-style meal will be served.
Teams are made up of four people and the entry fee is $100 per team. Prizes will be awarded to best costumed teams and for best team names. All participants are entered into a drawing for more than $2,000 worth of prizes.
The spin-off of TV's “Amazing Race” starts at Lettuce Dream, 1623 East 2nd Street in Maryville. Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time, which will be e-mailed to team captains on Saturday, July 21.
Parking is limited so plan to bring your team in one vehicle. The ending location is a large air-conditioned facility.
Registration opens on June 15, 2018 and ends on July 15, 2018. Registration forms can be found and submitted with payment by the following ways:

Car and truck show for old, new, gas, diesels, trucks, cars, semis, motorcycles, rat roads, side by sides, and a lot more. If its something you have put a lot of work in and want to show it off bring it to this show. Even if it is not finished yet!
