Ambassador Fair Parade- Saturday, July 21st
Summer in Nodaway County can only mean one thing, the Fair is coming, and your Chamber Ambassador's could not be more excited.

The Market will be open from 7:30 a.m. until Noon on May 5 th and will run every Saturday morning at these times until September 29 th. The weekly market is located at the corner of Fourth and Buchanan Streets in Downtown Maryville and features farm-fresh produce, locally made crafts and jewelry and fresh coffee and handmade donuts.

Second Saturday Screenings are to be held on the following dates: May 12, June 9, July 14, August 11, and September 8 . We highly recommend that people come out to the Market every week to support our farmers and to take charge of their health by taking advantage of these FREE screenings that are so important to their health.

The Maryville Farmers Market is hosted by the Host Lions Club.

Concerts in the Park

Maryville Parks and Recreation is proud to announce the 2018 lineup for Concerts in the Park Series presented by Tri State Maryville. Kicking off the first concert on June 2nd is DEPARTURE, a 70s/80s Rock Variety band based out of Topeka, KS.

The second concert on June 9th will feature ONE MORE ROUND - A Tribute to Johnny Cash, based out of Saint Louis, MO. Pre-show opener will begin at 5 pm with 95.9 Pickup Country KNIM Country Showdown..

The final concert on June 16th will feature REVELATION, a Journey tribute band. Pre-show opener will begin at 5 pm with 95.9 Pickup Country KNIM Country Showdown.

Concerts are completely FREE of charge. Kids Zone and HyVee Food & Spirits are sure to make it a good time for all ages! No outside coolers allowed and must bring own seating.

After being asked to be the opening show for the Parks and Rec Concerts in the Park on June 9th, this year the PICK-UP COUNTRY, KNIM COUNTRY SHOWDOWN prelimins will be split 50/50 between the two dates. The top 12 move on to the Nodaway County Fair, July 13th. Winner receives $500 and moves on to Regionals. Garth Brooks won this contest to get his start!

Guest are invited to attend open houses at each location between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Dr. Bob Bohlken will briefly discuss Folk Saying of Northwest Missouri relevant to kitchen and house hold topics at the Caleb Burns Home beginning at both 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Educational material will be available to educators. Northwest Missouri Faculty and Students from the School of Education will show feature displays and programs to be used at the museum by teachers in our area, enjoy a day of education!

Summer Movie Series

7:00 p.m.

FREE summer movie series! The first movie of the series on June 13th is "Coco", rated PG. On June 27th, the movie will be McFarland USA, rated PG.

Movies begin at 7:00 p.m. No food or drink is allowed in the theater. Check the Chamber's community event calendar to see summer movie series information in July and August.
