August 20th, 2021

This week, we successfully kicked off the 2021-2022 school year and for that success, I thank you. At DACC, we believe in creating a safe, welcoming, and accepting environment. What I saw when I walked the halls of our school was students getting to know each other and bonding over shared interests.

In between meeting new faces, learning about the proper methods of assembling a tool kit, and experiencing the first day of school at DACC right alongside our students, I have been on the phone with our local health officials and monitoring guidance from state officials.

What we know is that cases are rising and the majority of reported cases are from the Delta variant. Our local and state health officials are advising that all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, wear a mask indoors. Therefore, beginning Monday, August 23rd, we will be requiring all staff, students, and visitors to wear a mask while in our facilities.

Please take a moment to view this video message to hear more about our updated guidance and the thought process behind it.
Thank you for your continued flexibility.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 740-548-0708 or email us.
