From Zeco Krcic, Assistant Vice President for Facilities, Planning and Operations:

As has previously been communicated by President Frank H. Wu in cooperation with the QC Chapter of the PSC-CUNY and as was messaged yesterday by CUNY Chancellor Félix V. Matos Rodríguez, the incidence of COVID-19 has been on the rise in NYC. The rise in COVID-19, combined with an increase in cases of the flu and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), has led the NYC Department of Health to issue an advisory that strongly recommends masking indoors and in crowded outdoor settings. Read the complete advisory here

I would like to remind you that masks are available upon request on the Queens College campus at every entrance where you tap your QCard to enter and at every Public Safety booth. If you do not have a mask, please come pick one up.

Campus offices may continue to request a supply of masks by sending a work request to Buildings and Grounds at bngweb@qc.cuny.edu or stopping by the B&G office (L1 building) Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.

The best tools in our arsenal are vaccines and masks. Click here to find out where you can get a COVID booster or a flu vaccine. We urge you to do whatever you can to protect your health and the health of those around you.

If you feel ill or are displaying symptoms of COVID-19, you should avoid coming to campus or interacting with members of the QC community. If you or someone in your household tests positive for COVID-19, you must report the test result/exposure using this form. For more information, visit the QC COVID-19 website athttps://www.qc.cuny.edu/covid/

Best wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season.
