Dear Club Families,

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale will be requiring all members (all ages) to wear a mask while at the Club beginning Monday, June 22. Please send your child(ren) to summer camp with their own face covering (covers mouth and nose).

This requirement puts BGCS in compliance with all Maricopa County and city requirements recently put in place for the communities our Clubs serve. Club staff are already required to wear a face mask and will continue to do so.

The safety of our members, staff and volunteers is our number one concern.

Please keep safe and healthy!

The following safety procedures are in place:

  • Curbside drop-offs and pickups in the front of all open Clubs (please plan extra time for pickup and drop-off)
  • All members and staff will have their body temperature taken with no touch thermometers prior to entering the building
  • Hand sanitizer will be required for all entering the building
  • Planned/spaced hand washing for members between rotations
  • Members will be reminded to not touch their face and to cover their mouths when coughing or sneezing
  • Hourly disinfecting of high touch areas
  • Programming that is social distancing conscious
  • Field trips and external outings have been canceled until further notice
  • No entry into the Clubs from parents/outside guests/volunteers who do not provide direct services to members – this includes sports leagues

Our number one concern is always the safety and well-being of the youth we serve.
