Yesterday, the State Board of Education passed emergency regulations to require masks in all of the states’ public school facilities to mitigate transmission of COVID-19 and the Delta variant. Per the emergency regulations, the mandate could last for up to 180 days, but the board noted that the the situation is dynamic and the the mandate could expire sooner if the state’s COVID data improves.
