TRUE Community Credit Union to Build a New Livonia Branch,

Replacing the Current Plymouth Road Location



The new branch will enhance member experience and convenience. 

Construction on a new TRUE Community Credit Union branch in Livonia is scheduled to begin early 2025. This project marks a significant investment in the Livonia community, enhancing service capabilities and providing modern facilities for members.

The new branch construction will take place behind the current branch, located at 36525 Plymouth Rd., and will not disrupt regular service at the current branch.

The new building, with a total of 2,930 square feet, is expected to be completed by the end of 2025 and will feature two self-serve kiosks inside and three Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) located outside. As part of the project, one of the current ITMs will be relocated to the south end of the parking area for easy member access during construction as the existing canopy will be demolished, followed by excavation work shortly after.

EXPERIMENTAL AIRCRAFT ASSOCIATION

CHAPTER 55 AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS

The Experimental Aircraft Association-Chapter 55 of Mason has named two students as recipients of their Newberry Aviation Scholarship for 2024/2025. Elizabeth Kester was awarded $1,500 and Dennis Bennett was awarded $1,000 toward their education at Lansing Community College - School of Aviation Technology, whose campus is right here in Mason at Mason Jewett Field. They each will also receive a free one-year Honorary membership in EAA Chapter 55 and a free six-month membership from EAA national. 

EAA Chapter 55 has a longstanding commitment to support educational opportunities for students seeking aviation careers. These students were chosen based on a combination of academic achievement. community engagement and defined goals for a future in aviation.

The Chapter raises funds to support their scholarship program by hosting a Pancake Breakfast in June and Mason Aviation Day in August. Additional information about the chapter and their fundraising events can be found on their Facebook page or by visiting the website chapters.eaa.org/eaa55

The Club offers 11" Hanging Baskets, 3-gallon Bush Pots and 4-1/2" Seed Geraniums for purchase. Also available are 12" Herb Bowls and 10" Succulent Planters. Last year we added Fushia and Begonia Hanging Baskets. This year we have added a multi-color Calibrachoa Hanging Basket !!

These plants are supplied to us by Weesies Bros. Garden Centers & Landscaping of Montague, MI – And, they never disappoint. You will not find these prices and quality in any store! HINT: These plants make awesome Mother's Day gifts.
