Ugo Squirrel, the new creative partnership of Ken Jones Jr. and Ron Morris (former owners of Mercantile Home) are pleased to announce their collaboration with GEDP in the making of PETALS IN THE PARK: a big blooming community art project. Using innovative materials and the magic of imagination, Ugo Squirrel and members of the Easton community will come together over 6 weeks to create a gigantic, whimsical paper garden of colossal proportions. Dandelions, sunflowers, pansies and pinwheels will mix and mingle with ribbon vines, fabric canopies, and beautiful butterflies constructing an enormous, enchanted garden befitting of a fairy tale along the Delaware River in Scott Park. From April 26 – June 6, Ugo Squirrel will host “Flower Fabrication Stations” at popular Easton events, locations, and gatherings where the public will have access to all the elements needed to make this unforgettable dreamscape come to life. Debuting on Sunday June 8 (with a special sneak peek extravaganza as part of GEDP’s Rose on the River on June 7^th), the garden will burst into full bloom for two weeks from June 8 through June 22nd, turning Scott Park into a wonderland of fantastical, floral fun for all to enjoy. Join us tomorrow to contribute to this project!

Just in time for Mother’s Day! Phillips Farms will have a huge selection of hanging baskets and other beautiful potted flowers. Their greenhouse tomatoes were a huge hit last week and are not to be missed. Other produce available: Asparagus, Spring Garlic, Spinach, Lettuce, Swiss Chard, Kale,

Scallions, Fresh Herbs, Apples, Cider and more.

Cabbage Throw Farm

Cabbage Throw Farm will be at market this weekend! Limited quantity of baby greens including baby chard, spinach, arugula, and baby kale as well as microgreens and radishes will be available.

There’s still time to join the 2025 CSA! Memberships can be purchased in advance by email (cabbagethrowfarm@gmail.com) or online and also in person at markets throughout the month of May.

Both scents could bring a memory from their yesteryear's. If Mom loves to garden my Gardener's Hand soap and my Gardener Hand Soother would be nice. I have soaps that are herbal, citrus and woodsy scents or just soaps for fun, Creamsicle or Cocoa Fudge, too. I like to wish you a Happy Mother's Day!
