“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.”
— Henry Ford, American businessman

Change has been the only constant since March of this year, compelling business owners to navigate difficult decisions and/or charting new plans. For many, working with a business resource partner or a mentor has proven to be the soundest approach to mitigate risks while addressing changes. This has been the course SBDCs have taken nationwide, as they help clients and each other! Collaboratively consulting with resource partners and fellow centers has helped centers as we operate in a new business climate.

Are you in the process of making a change?
If you are applying for the SBA's Paycheck Protection Program forgiveness application or are simply seeking recovery directions, the SBDC network is trained and equipped to counsel you!

Connect with a counselor/SME today to work out an ideal plan in this new normal. For recovery guidance a great place to start is the Virginia SBDC's Recovery Resource Center page, which has vital, sector-based tips and guidance for businesses.

To work with a counselor on recovery guidance, loan forgiveness applications, or any business matter, email the Mason Small Business Development Center (Mason SBDC) at help@masonsbdc.org today!

Client Testimonial
"I was assigned to Gary Alfano and from our 1st session I knew he was the one to assist me with my business needs! Mr. Alfano was very professional, patient, and knowledgeable regarding the possibility of becoming a vendor for the Federal Government, as well as becoming certified with other agencies that could help my business. Throughout our counseling sessions, there was never a dull moment! His method of teaching/counseling style is OUTSTANDING! He listens to all of my "many" questions, assigns homework, and ends the session with... "It's been a pleasure to assist you. If you any questions, please know that I'm available." THANK YOU FOR CONNECTING ME WITH AN AWESOME COUNSELOR! What a wonderful experience!!!"
