MassCUE News: April 2026
What's Blooming at MassCUE This April
| | We are moving full steam ahead with the MassCUE Fall Conference, October 14–15, 2026 at Gillette Stadium! This year's theme, Forward and Beyond, challenges all of us to embrace innovation, push past limitations, and reimagine what education can become for every learner. | | |
We're thrilled to announce our two keynote speakers: Dr. Kip Glazer, an award-winning school leader and nationally recognized expert in GenAI, and author of Ready to Lead with AI: A Practical Guide for School Leaders, and Matt Miller, author of Ditch That Textbook and a passionate advocate for creative, tech-infused teaching that puts students at the center of learning.
We're also honored to share that this year's conference logo was brought to life by New York Times bestselling author and illustrator Peter H. Reynolds — beloved creator of The Dot, The Word Collector, and Say Something. Thank you, Peter, for sharing your extraordinary creative talents with our community!
It's going to be an incredible two days — stay tuned for more exciting announcements!

April 2026 Featured Educator:
Joe Briggs Magnant
MassCUE is proud to celebrate Joe Briggs Magnant as our Featured Educator for April 2026!
At Sturgis Charter Public School West Campus in Hyannis, Joe runs a thriving music program where students don't just perform — they compose, produce, and collaborate like modern musicians. As the school's only music teacher, he directs multiple ensembles and leads the IB Music program, integrating tools like BandLab and Flat.io to give students a full creative experience.
As Joe puts it: "It's really about giving students a place where they can create something meaningful and share it with others."
By blending live performance with digital production, Joe helps students discover their creative voice while building skills that extend far beyond the music room.
