When Dover-Sherborn teacher Nick Grout set out to build a retro arcade machine with his students, he never imagined it would evolve into a hands-on learning phenomenon.

Students built arcade cabinets from scratch — learning coding, wiring, design, and teamwork along the way.

Grout’s philosophy?

“It’s not about getting kids to be experts. It’s about opening their eyes to possibilities.”
